THE VILLAGE AT SAN ANTONIO CENTER
Mountain View, California
Merlone Geier Partners
The Village at San Antonio Center has been constructed in the affluent and well established city of Mountain View California at the northern end of Silicon Valley. The retail components were designed and developed by Mark Krukiel for Merlone Geier Partners. The project contains 144,000 square feet of retail, 165 hotel rooms, 330 multi-family units, 500,000 square feet of office space and an eight screen cinema complex. The project is the recipient of numerous awards including the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s Best Mixed-Use Project Award.
The Village at San Antonio Center brings a fresh collection of retail, residential, parks and pedestrian space to the 21 acre site serving the Mountain View, Palo Alto and Los Altos communities. The new construction coincided with the reimaging and redevelopment of the adjacent 50 year-old San Antonio Shopping Center. The expanded development features a new state-of-the-art market, twenty new restaurants, boutique shops and cafes as well as modern office space and high-end multi-family units – all interwoven by pedestrian friendly sidewalks, open plazas and a community park.
